NARRATIVE AND GENRE

Shaun of the Dead Follows  the conventions of two different genres ( romantic comedy and zombie horror)

Shaun's problems in one genre are highlighted, linked to  and finally  solved in the other.

Edgar Wright uses repeated scenes and dialogue to show narrative progression ,   comment on  character , for comic effect  and  to create links between the different genres and sections of the narrative. How many examples can you find ?
